Is one of many inner-city
community outreach program
outlines that The JG Company
has created to offer its
characters as assistance with
the issues that face inner-city
kids. Growing up in the streets
of Boston, Jayme Gordon, like
many of the friends he grew up
with, knows first hand the
adversities and challenges
facing kids in these areas.
Therefore, Jayme created
a series of characters to act
as positive role models to
help address these issues.
ROLE MODELS:
Jayme Gordon's character,
"Master Suki-Yaki Snail™",
is the ultimate role model
and leader. He is an ancient
shelled sage, who wears a
bamboo hat and carries a
mystical wooden staff. He
comes from "The Wisdom
Tree™", deep in "The Valley
Of Flowers™". He has many
students who he trains in
martial arts so that they
can become guardians of
their peaceful valley home.
He instills in them the many
virtues that they will carry
through out their lives with
honor and self respect.

in the year 1990.
JAYME GORDON'S other insect
super heroes, such as
"Karate Marty Mantis™",
"Zito The Super Samurai
Mosquito™", and "The ZIA™,
Zito Intelligence Agency™",
with its "Bugs Against Drugs™"
inner city initiative, also
reinforce our role model
storylines and have programs
that support community
education designed to further
perpetuate the positive effects
of living a drug, crime, and
violence free lifestyle.

THESE core beliefs, are the
foundation of our character
role model stories and are
written in a way so that the
kids who read them will learn
these values, and hopefully,
apply them as they face their
every day challenges each time
they step out their door to
face the world around them.

beginning in 1990 & 1991.
INSPIRATION: As true with all of
Jayme's animal or insect
characters, they are based
on his personal lifelong interest
in the natural world and its
many creatures and their
importance to their eco systems,
and the health of the planet.
Growing up in the city offered
a hard world made mostly of
concrete, but in that Jayme
found soft pockets of
green to escape in.
FROM abandoned grassy lots
that once dominated areas across
the city landscape, to highway
side grass fields, opportunities
emerged to explore all types
of creatures, such as mantids,
grasshoppers, and butterflies,
to name just a few. Jayme's
escapism and fascination,
led to him embarking on a life's
journey of creating unique
imaginary worlds, in which,
these very creatures could be
brought to the attention of other
city kids like him, and be a
source of inspiration and
fantasy away from their
fast paced worlds.
MANY of Jayme's characters
have been used in inner-city
schools and abroad where
they have been praised as
teaching tools to address
issues involving drugs, crime,
and violence. Their stories
are presented in a fashion
that is not only exciting, but
also age appropriate,
educational, and entertaining,
as well as in a format that is
easily understood by its readers.

Is to utilize our role models
